Ishak Castle, located in Ortahisar Town, is a 60-meter-high structure bearing traces of historical times. Recently it has been popularly hosting various events, festivals and celebrations with its surrounding areas. Ishak Castle takes its name from Ishak Pasha, who served as Anatolian Beylerbeyi under the command of Fatih Sultan Mehmet.

Ishak Castle is one of the structures that shed light on the history of the Cappadocia region. There is a tunnel at the foundation of İshak Castle connecting the two buildings leading to Ortahisar Castle. During the war, people went to their places of worship and living through these tunnels. İshak Castle attracts attention with its historical sites and natural beauties and hosts many tourists.
